Okay, after much deliberation, I’ve decided to assign one full page specifically for losing weight and getting fit. I’ll update this page as I go along, but might also post an entry or two about it, so check the category listings for that. Just think of this as one loooong entry, updated regularly. Now I hear you ask “WHY OH WHY??”

I have my my reasons, one of them being I’m as unfit as you can get. The struggle to lose weight has been a losing battle (pardon the pun) for the uncool amount of years,  and things better start going right soon.

Secondly, I can’t do stuff like this on my own. Its easy for slim, fit people to say just stick to a regular exercise regime, just do this, just do that, blah blah blah blah. I’m not them and quite frankly, if you’ve never had to work weight off in your life then you don’t qualify to tell me how easy it is. I know myself and my body and I know that unless I have an drill sergeant telling me to do those push ups and cruches, OR ELSE, I’m never gonna do more than 5 before I give up. So, I don’t have anybody to do that for me, apart from a certain someone who sarcastically asked if he should quit his job in order to make time to work out with me, (refer to above mentioned “if you’ve never had to work off weight” statement…) and I cant afford a training instructor or gym membership right now, still being unemployed and all. So the next best thing is putting it on on the world wide web where everybody can see it. Oh the pressure. See, its almost working already…

Thirdly. I stumbled upon a Blogger page recently along the same lines, “Watch my ass shrink,” if memory serves me right. Just the idea of making her goal known publically on the internet motivated her to stick to her exercise routine and diet.

So, lets do this. I should probably upload “before photo’s” too (eeeeeeek) along with all the updates. But its 5am now and I’ll do that once the sun is high in the sky and I can take embarrissing photo’s without being interrupted. lol
